                           Two Sydney Mums urging all mums to value their needs

Mums no longer have to put their personal needs on hold thanks to a new website launching on Mother's Day.

Mums on the Go™ www.mumsonthego.com.au is a directory of child-friendly businesses and articles designed specifically for mums needs.

It is not a parenting website. Rather, a place where mums go to feel supported, encouraged and nurtured.

It includes a list of cafes with colouring in pencils; dentists with child play areas;  beauticians and hairdressers that provide toys, and physios that are happy for your child to sit in the stroller.... which means no more haggling with babysitters, or worse, mum's neglecting their own needs.

The brain child of two Sydney Based Mums, Linda Anderson and Calli Brown, Mums on the Go was born out of necessity. Neither had family close by to leave their young children with while they attended to their own needs.

The launch of Mums on the Go means for the first time ever, mums will have a central place to find out about businesses in their local area that are child-friendly.

Linda Anderson says Mums spend so much time fulfilling the needs of their precious newborn and small children that it is easy to neglect their own needs. “We want this website to encourage mums to value their own needs - but not feel like they are compromising the needs of their children” she said.

Calli Brown says the website will also cater to mothers interests by providing articles that deal with life post-baby "such as how relationships change, travelling with small children, practical ways to nurture and care for yourself and recharging your libido."
The website will launch with Sydney but is asking Mums from all around Australia to help make it national as quickly as possible by submitting suggestions via the website.
